Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao was a PPV hit and attracted the biggest names, including Mike Tyson who had to elbow a fan for getting too close for a photograph at the weigh-in

Mike Tyson – aka ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ – is probably the last person you want to annoy.
The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world is a much calmer man now than in his terrifying heyday, but he still retains an intimidating presence.

This much was clear when he was in attendance for the weigh-in for Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao in May 2015.
It was a star studded event, with fans eagerly anticipating the biggest fight in history and, as is usual for the legend of Tyson, he was mobbed by fans wanting pictures.
‘Iron Mike’ is normally happy to oblige, but one particular supporter irked him at the event.
While he was sat watching the weigh-in, a fan walked up behind Tyson and put his arm around him to pose for a picture.
He seemingly did not ask permission and took the heavyweight by surprise, who responded by elbowing him to push him away. Manners cost nothing, after all.

Tyson, who is now 55 years old, has been dealing with global fame since the age of 20 when he became heavyweight champion for the first time.
“That was a trip,” he recalled of his heyday to Joe Rogan on his podcast.
“[Trainer] Cus d’Amato told me how to deal with the pressure [of being a superstar] but there really is no ingredient on how to handle fame,” adding it took him a while to get used to being pulled in all different directions for autographs and pictures.
“Now, it just is what it is.”
And Tyson is now back fighting again and given his level of fame, it was no surprise to see the level of interest there was when he returned to the ring for an exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
The contest ended in an unofficial draw, but provided a solid eight rounds of entertainment.
“I felt better than I anticipated,” he recalled of the Jones fight on his Hotboxin’ podcast.
“I thought I would be a little more nervous than I was, but I was relaxed. I felt like ‘wow’ – I could do some more, I could punch more combinations, I could do this and do that.
“I said ‘wow, this is interesting’ and I want to do it again and I want to do it against someone I could go all out on. It made me interested in wanting to do it again.
“I wanted to go the distance, I didn’t want to knock anybody out, that’s what people expected, but I wanted to go the distance.”
He is eager to fight again and has kept up his training, with Logan and Jake Paul rumoured to be in the mix for an exhibition bout.
