Muhammad Ali’s Grandson Pays Tribute To George Foreman

When it comes to the boxing all-time classics and fierce rivalries, the legendary ‘Rumble In The Jungle’ duel between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman will always find a top spot in the minds of boxing devotees.

In the mid-’80s, two of the boxing greats, Ali and Foreman, got together to provide an iconic moment for combat sports fans.

At that point in time, Foreman was at the peak of his power and youth.

He was considered a clear favorite going into the fight. Previously, Foreman’s ruthlessness and immense punching power had left the likes of Joe Frazier and Ken Norton to the mat. Many boxing pundits were giving a slight to no chance to Ali to come out on top at the end of this battle.

But Ali had other ideas in store for them as he fought hard and absorbed some heavy punches in the early rounds, eventually knocking the “Big George’ in the later part of the fight to win WBA, WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles.

Now years later Ali’s grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, who himself is a pro fighter, pays tribute to Foreman in his prime.

Walsh has already four professional fights under his belt – all of them wins, three by TKO — and is already starting to make a name for himself in the sport of boxing.
