Anthony Joshua: I’ll fight Joseph Parker, I’ll smoke him as well

Anthony Joshua has long been touted for a rematch with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, yet the situation in the latter’s home nation means that is unlikely to be an option in the short-term.
As a result, Joshua has stated that he is open to fighting Joseph Parker, and is more than confident of beating him.
“Me personally? I’ll fight no problem. I’ll fight whatever, no problem,” Joshua said on Behind The Gloves.
“I’ll smoke him as well. It doesn’t matter.
“But listen, I’ll fight Joseph Parker. Do you know what it is? My record shows, it’s a fight at the end of the day, what do you want me to do?
“I don’t give a f***, I’ll fight whoever, whenever, it’s only a fight.
“Do you know what I’m trying to say? So yes, I’ll fight, 100 per cent.”
Joshua also confirmed that his former assistant trainer, Angel Fernandez, will now be his main coach.
“I’m working with Angel Fernandez right now, in London, and he’s been in my camp for the last three years anyway,” he said.
“He’s been at the last three of my world championship fights.”
