Senatorial candidate Monsour del Rosario’s campaign got a shot in the arm following an endorsement from presidential contender Senator Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao has thrown support behind Del Rosario, adopting him as a guest candidate in his senatorial slate. The two athletes-turned-politikos recently reunited at a campaign activity in Cebu.
Del Rosario, former Makati City congressman, taekwondo champion, and actor, is currently part of the senatorial slate of presidential bet Senator Panfilo Lacson.
Del Rosario has expressed gratitude to Pacquiao for his endorsement. He admitted being surprised by Pacquiao’s support since he belongs with Lacson’s senatorial slate.
