Anthony Joshua v Oleksandr Usyk 2 date: UK start time, potential location, live stream, how to follow and latest news for world title rematch

The rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk is expected to be announced for this summer as AJ looks to reclaim his world titles.
Joshua was outclassed by Usyk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last September, losing his world heavyweight crowns on a hugely difficult night.

Joshua vs Usyk 2 was originally planned to be held in May but the ongoing situation in Ukraine put that on hold.
Usyk travelled back to his home country and joined the military in the defence of Ukraine after the Russian invasion which began in February.
The 35-year-old has now received permission from his country’s sports minister to return to his training camp and gear up for the epic rematch with AJ.
Elsewhere, Tyson Fury is set to face Dillian Whyte at Wembley on April 23.
The winners of the two blockbuster bouts are then expected to clash in a huge unification bout later this year.
Joshua vs Usyk 2: Date and start time
The fight is now expected to take place in late June but the exact date has not been confirmed yet.
The date being looked at is currently Saturday, June 25.
Saudi Arabia is the frontrunner to host the rematch, according to Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk.
“Saudi is the place we are in discussions with at the moment,” Krassyuk said.
“Late June is the date we are looking at. Nothing has been confirmed on paper. We are working on it. There are other options but we take it step by step.”
Joshua faced Andy Ruiz Jr in their rematch in December 2019 at a purpose-built 15,000-seat arena in Diriyah.
That fight began at 9pm UK time.
Other options would include the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, Wembley Stadium or Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

DAZN costs £7.99 to subscribe to in the UK, but the streaming service are likely to add a pay-per-view arm to their model this year.

Joshua vs Usyk 2: What have the fighters said?
Usyk recently confirmed he is preparing to fight Joshua again this summer.
He said: “I decided to start preparing for a rematch with Anthony Joshua, a large number of my friends support me, all the rest of the good and peace, Thank God for everything.
“That’s how I will help my country more and it’s better than being in territorial defence and running around Kyiv with a machine gun.
“Dear friends, many of my friends and close ones called me and supported me in this. Haters, I wish you well and wish you happiness, joy and peace.
“Everything will be with God’s blessing. Everything will be Ukraine. Wishing everyone well.”
