The Undertaker Wants His Wife In The WWE Hall Of Fame

“She was one working in an era where women didn’t get nearly the opportunities that they do now."

The Undertaker has let it be known that he wants his wife in the WWE Hall of Fame. The former superstar will be inducted himself this year on the back of a 30-year career with the promotion but reckons Michelle McCool should be right there with him.

The 56-year-old spoke to Dallas Morning News in relation to the development and was asked who else he thinks should be inducted.

“There’s several. Off the top of my head, and this is going to sound really super political, but I believe my wife should be in,” he replied. “She was one working in an era where women didn’t get nearly the opportunities that they do now, and she fought so hard for the women to kind of get more of a spotlight put on them.”

McCool joined WWE in 2004 and worked full-time until 2011. She had a pretty impressive career, winning two Women’s Championships, as well as two Divas Titles. She featured in the Women’s Royal Rumble this year.

Taker certainly feels like she deserves to get in there and, though he knows there are several others who should get inducted, he’s focused on getting his ideas together for what should be a very interesting speech.

“I think she deserves a nod,” he continued. “And, my goodness, there’s a laundry list of male talent that I can run off. But I’m just trying to get through this one. I’ve got to get this speech put together. Then, we’ll figure out who else goes in…I’ve got papers all over the place with notes and ideas. It’s been a while since I’ve had this kind of nervous energy, if you will.”
