The Undertaker Calls The Rock A C-List Actor, The Rock Responds

The Rock took to social media to respond to The Undertaker jokingly slamming his acting career.

The Rock has responded to The Undertaker calling him a “C-Lister” following a recent quip from The Deadman regarding a potential Hollywood career.

Taker jokingly branded The Rock as the above during an interview with Robbie Fox on the My Mom’s Basement podcast. The former WWE star, who stepped away from wrestling late last year, claimed he never really had acting aspirations as he enjoyed being a wrestler.

He would point out that he has no problem with people who feel the need to transition to Hollywood but isn’t sure it worked out for The Rock.

“My mindset was like, ‘I’m living my dream here!’ So I didn’t have aspirations of going to Hollywood and crossing over like that, which I got nothing against guys who do. Jury’s still out on whether it worked for The Rock or not, I don’t know.

“You know, he’s a C-Lister,” he added, cheekily.

The Rock took Taker’s joke in stride and responded via Twitter, praising his former colleague for his sense of humor, as well as his ability in the ring.

“Hahaha one of the many reasons I love my big brother, Take,” he tweeted. “Great sense of humor. Absolute beast in the ring and the most athletically gifted big man to ever wrestle and grace our squared circle. An honor to get my ass kicked by him over the years [folded hands emoji] [flexed biceps emoji] #CList4L.”

Batista Would Agree

The Rock is arguably the biggest star in Hollywood right now and there’s certainly nothing C-List about him. Jokes aside, though, there are people who out there who do not think Dwayne Johnson is that great of an actor.

Last year, Batista criticized The Rock’s acting, after admitting there is something special about the People’s Champ. “There is something about him that’s really special. I’d never take that away from him. Would I consider him a great actor? F**k no,” The Animal declared.

An actor himself, a pretty good one in his own right, Batista has yet to hit the heights Johnson has. As for Taker, he didn’t even bother trying.
