Mike Tyson biopic: Trevante Rhodes is looking stacked as he plays boxing legend

Biopic films that depict famous people from the 20th century are becoming more and more prevalent.
Whether it be Taron Egerton starring as Elton John in Rocket Man or Rami Malek depicting Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, they are instant hits.
The sports world is next in line to give this a whirl with one of the greatest boxers of all time. Will Smith portrayed Muhammad Ali back in 2001, and now two decades later, another heavy-hitter is set to be seen in the world of film.
As opposed to a film, Hulu will be putting out a short-series in which Mike Tyson will be played by Trevante Rhodes.
Photos have been released of Rhodes in the role and he certainly looks to be up for playing the part, physically if nothing else.
The name Trevante Rhodes may be familiar to fans of film and that is because the man from Louisiana has played a couple of big roles recently. As well as the hit-Netflix film Birdbox, alongside Sandra Bullock, Rhodes was in Moonlight. An excellent cast in the latter saw Rhodes feature alongside the likes of Naomie Harris and Mahershala Ali.
“The Baddest Man on the Planet” is famous for his exploits in the ring with everyone knowing a fair bit about him. Tyson has himself featured in films, though, including the famed Hangover series and also China Salesman.
A lot of people on social media have been clambering over the physique of Rhodes on show for this role. He is sporting nothing but white underwear and his abs of steel are there for all to see.
Iron Mike’s last proper fight saw him lose to Irishman Kevin McBride in the June of 2005, in Washington DC. Since then, though, he of course had an exhibition bout against fellow icon Roy Jones Jr.
