Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua could not hold back his disbelief that he did not beat Tyson Fury’s record on a DAZN punch machine.
The British boxer took on the DAZN Boxing Show’s punch machine challenge and, with his left hand he smashed a score of 965, which broke the record on display on the machine, however, it still fell short of Fury’s incredible 993.
Joshua, who is known to be one of the heaviest punchers in the sport as he knocked out Wladimir Klitschko and Dillian Whyte in his career, did beat his record he set on during an appearance on the Graham Norton Show in 2017 of 848.

Fury’s score of 993 would have nearly broken the machine, though it is likely the machines are calibrated differently.
Fury’s brother Tommy, who is better known for his appearance on Love Island and his ongoing rivalry with youtube star and boxer Jake Paul, scored 949 on the same machine as the Gypsy King.

Joshua (pictued) and Fury were due to fight but it was called off due to contractual issues
Joshua and Fury had been set to finally take on each other in December in what had been hailed the ‘Battle of Britain’, but the fight has since been dropped due to contractual issues.
On a few occasions a fight between the long-standing rivals has fallen by the wayside as last year an arbitrator insisted that Fury fight Deontay Wilder for the third time instead of Joshua in an undisputed title clash.
Fury had come out of retirement for the fight and now appears set to fight either Mahmoud Charr or Derek Chisora, whereas Joshua will face a ranked opponent as he tries to bounce back from defeats to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.
