New Digital Technology Could See Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant join SAG-AFTRA picket lines
A leading technology firm has offered SAG-AFTRA the chance to have the digital likenesses of Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant join their picket lines.
“Our technology is seamless. We could absolutely bolster their picket lines with some of the most famous stars of the golden age of Hollywood,” explained Stewart James, who runs the company.
“How powerful a message would it be to have the stars of today standing shoulder to shoulder with Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Claude Colbert!
“We could even bring in Laurel and Hardy to keep everyone’s spirits up should the strike really start to drag on.”
The idea has captured the imagination of people who wouldn’t normally take an interest in the strikes.
“Oh, I do love the old movie stars. I like Clark Gable,” explained Kelly Grace, a fan of old movies.
“To be honest, I haven’t paid much attention to what this strike’s all about, but if Clark Gable was involved then I’m certain I’d be more interested.”
SAG-AFTRA have yet to respond to the offer.
The company has gone on to offer a digital likeness of any leading representative of SAG-AFTRA for the picket lines to give that representative time to discuss the offer.
