The Unlikely Connection Between Jake Paul, Oleksandr Usyk, and a Legendary Boxing Icon

After taking on Nate Diaz earlier this month, social media giant Jake Paul is back in the win column. Although the Problem Child was not strong enough to finish Nate, he managed to go the whole 10 rounds against Nate’s relentless cardio and emerge a winner. With another win under his belt, Paul arrived in Poland to witness Oleksandr Usyk defend his title against Daniel Dubois.
Usyk will take on Dubois on August 26 after failed negotiations of a fight with Tyson Fury. Before the fight, Paul met with Usyk and ended up drawing similarities between himself, Usyk and the Great Muhammad Ali.
“What do Jake Paul, Oleksander Usyk and Muhammad Ali all have in common? Greatness from birth,” posted Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. Given the nature of the comparison many were not happy with Jake. Both Muhammad Ali and Usyk have achieved a lot to be counted among the greatest of all time.
Ali is considered one of the most inspiring boxers in history, leaving his impression across decades. Although his trash-talking brought many fans to the game it wasn’t appreciated by legendary coach Cus D’Amato who trained Mike Tyson. Regardless, D’Amato also regarded Ali as the best when it came to his performance.
Meanwhile, Oleksandr Usyk is one of the best heavyweights of this era. He has defeated several world champions and might soon become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Although Jake Paul has managed to bring in more fans to the sport, he is very far from being compared to the two.
Jake Paul calls out legendary boxing icon Muhammad Ali’s grandsons
After his last win in Dallas, Texas, Jake Paul is on the hunt for a new opponent. Although the Problem Child is looking forward to fighting Nate Diaz in MMA, he has already called out a couple more opponents. Among them are the grandsons of the legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali.
Both of Muhammad Ali’s grandsons are trying to make a name for themselves in the combat sports world. Biaggio Ali Walsh is an amateur MMA fighter with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. Whereas Nico Ali Walsh is an undefeated boxer with a record of 8 wins and 0 losses.

When asked if he would fight both the brothers in their respective sports, Paul gladly obliged. “Just erase them all i’m down,” said Paul. Although Jake is ready to fight Biaggio and Nico, the brothers think the fight does not make sense. Biaggio Walsh believes Jake should fight someone his own size instead of fighting smaller guys.
Meanwhile, Nico Walsh wants to stick with fighting actual boxers and earn a title someday. With both brothers out of the fight, Jake Paul will have to continue the hunt for his next opponent. Chances are Paul might end up fighting the winner of KSI vs Tommy Fury taking place on October 14.
