Many fans see the contest as nothing more than a cash grab from the former UFC heavyweight champion because it will be the fight with the highest financial reward of Ngannou’s career. Mike Tyson, a former heavyweight boxing champion, disagrees. On his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, Tyson had told Ngannou that people underestimate him.

Mike Tyson recently shared the footage on X and praised the 36-year-old’s skills in the caption of the video “ I am not easily impressed, but Francis Ngannou knows how to box. This is what dedication looks like.”

While “The Predator” still has his sights set on the upset and thinks Tyson is the one to help him pull it off, Tyson is now convinced that Ngannou can at least give a solid accounting of himself in the ring.
