“He’s Already Teaching Him His Bad Habits”: Photo of Francis Ngannou Doing Something That Cost Mike Tyson $3 Million Makes Rounds on the Internet and Fans Are Having a Field Day

The ‘Bite Fight’ happened 26 years ago, on June 28, 1997, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. No one expected it to become a historic event for all the wrong reasons. In the third round, Mike Tyson shockingly bit off part of Evander Holyfield‘s ear. Tyson faced severe consequences: disqualification, a $3 million fine, and a temporary ban from boxing.

Today, the story has changed as ‘The Real Deal’ has forgiven ‘Iron Mike,’ and they have moved past that to even become business partners. However, a recent post featuring former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou echoes the infamous act. But what did the ‘The Predator’  do that made the fans on social media remember that iconic fight?

A recent post reminds fans of the iconic Holyfield-Mike Tyson fight

The page Académie SGS posted the picture, captioning it as “Mike Tyson taught Francis Ngannou his secret technique!!!”  As renowned, ‘Iron Mike’ is training Ngannou for his debut boxing match against Tyson Fury on 28th October. Thus, their alliance is making a lot of noise in the boxing world. However, this post reflects the fun time they had after extensively training for the forthcoming battle. The picture shows Ngannou pretending to bite off Tyson’s ear. And, the fans have not shied away from swamping the comment section with their varying opinions.

One fan humorously noted that Mike Tyson’s first student is already picking up his bad habits. The fan said, “First ever Mike Tyson’s student and he’s already teaching him he’s bad habits lol.”

Then, another commented that Ngannou’s adversary Tyson Fury’s unique skill is in absorbing the impact of powerful punches. The fan wrote, “Cool… and Fury’s secret technique is taking up the punches and KO’s”

A third fan pointed out the need for Mike’s student to improve his “leg flexibility”, stating it’s not up to par for his high-stakes bout.  The fan said, “He needs to work more on that leg flexibility! Obviously he’s not up to par yet.”

Another user stated, “I think a Cameroonian can hide an order from it!”

Furthermore, a follower declared the ear-biting technique to be the most “famous secret” of all time. The follower wrote, “The most famous secret of all time.”

After the “bite fight”, there was a lot of animosity between the two fighters. However, Tyson and Holyfield have squashed their long-standing beef and have even become business partners. It is safe to say that the recent Facebook post brought some nostalgia for the fans who grew up following the iconic rivalry between the two pugilists.
